Otero Telephone Information System (O.T.I.S.) and OFCU eBranch

Let our telephone information system and the OFCU eBranch be your financial best friend. Both interactive systems are designed to help you and save you time and effort in your financial transactions by providing you with remote account access. O.T.I.S. and the OFCU eBranch are systems that work once you have identified yourself to them with a Remote Account Access Personal Identification Number (PIN). Your PIN is the "identification number" requested by the interactive system to allow you access to your OFCU accounts. Your PIN is, and should be kept, strictly confidential. Do not share your PIN with any other party.

O.T.I.S is just a phone call away by dialing 505-437-8781 on your touch tone phone. Or 1-800-975-7575 if calling from outside the Alamogordo, NM calling area. O.T.I.S. can take care of most of your financial transactions with the transferring of funds within your account, the status of your loans, or balance information. You can also request that a check be disbursed from one of your accounts to be mailed to your home the next day.

OFCU eBranch can be reached anywhere you have access to the world wide web. With your account number and your Remote Account Access PIN you can access your current savings and loan balance, checking accounts, money market accounts, transaction history, and even transfer funds within your account. (OFCU eBranch also offers an optional OFCU Bill Payment service for a small fee.) Once you enter your Remote Account Access PIN the first time on the OFCU eBranch page, you will be asked to select a password for all future log-ons.

Automated Teller Machines (ATM)

OFCU provides ATM service for those members who are constantly on-the-go or like to set their own hours. There are ATMs conveniently located at each branch location and inside the entrance of the Holloman AFB Commissary and BX. And, the credit union belongs to the Star/Honor, Lynx, Pulse, Cirrus, and Plus System Networks so that members have access to a number of ATMs throughout the United States.

You may deposit or withdraw cash from your share or share draft accounts, check account balances, transfer money from one account to another, or receive a cash advance on your credit card(s).

Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction

Direct Deposit alleviates the task of waiting in line to deposit your pay, social security, or retirement check into your credit union account.

Payroll deduction is a great means to add funds to your shares or to make payments to the loans you have at the credit union.

Otero Federal Credit Union encourages its members to request a direct deposit or payroll deduction form. Simply E-mail us your request, and we'll mail you the forms.

Overdraft Protection

Need a safety net for those times when your checking account balance is insufficient to cover checks presented for payment? Overdraft protection can provide just that. Overdraft protection is inexpensive insurance against the occasional mistake or miscalculation that can result in expense and embarrassment. Upon approval, OFCU can cover overages up to a predetermined credit limit. Consider this option when you apply for a checking account at OFCU. Have a checking account with us already? No problem. Just E-mail us your request for overdraft protection information and an application.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Safe deposit boxes are an ideal place to put your valued possessions. For your convenience, OFCU offers safe deposit boxes at our Roswell Branch Offices and at our Northside Branch in Alamogordo. Box sizes and fees vary.

To reserve your box(es) at either Northside or Roswell, please call our member service representative at (505) 434-8500 or 1-800-376-9000 and your request will be handled promptly. Boxes are limited, so reserve yours today.

NOTE: Safe deposit boxes may be rented only to members of Otero Federal Credit Union. No one under the age of 18 years may rent or be a deputy on a safe deposit box. No one who cannot give satisfactory proof of identity will be permitted to rent a box.
